We've bundled two skins for your initial Trillian installation. Besides the default skin, we also have Trillian Cobalt, which can use multiple interfaces. For example, the minimal interface (as shown above) which uses minimal screen real estate and features windows that can roll up!
Easier Skin Creation with SkinXML and Stixe
Skinning is easy with Trillian. You can choose to skin just one contact list with a single page of code, or design by modules with Stixe.

With the support of PNG alpha transparency and Windows Aero, you can now create skins with smooth edges and glass effects.

Without changing skins, Trillian now supports real-time color shifts! Change to pink when you've fallen in love, or change to the Halloween theme when the weather cools down!
Match Windows Vista with Trillian Cordonata
The default skin, Trillian Cordonata, is fitted with glowing buttons, drop shadow and fonts that match Windows Vista.
Emoticon Packs and Sound Packs
You can switch the entire set of emoticons for a different style, as well as the set of sounds for incoming and outgoing messages.
Mix and Match with Custom Windows!
Like the rest of the skin, but want a little more pizzaz? Now you can swap individual components, such as the contact list, to another style!

Skins can now be changed without restarting Trilian, a big plus for skinners.

Powerful Plugin API
A full plugin API written in C (other languages developed by the community) enabling programmers to develop many types of plugins, ranging from a simple RSS reader to a full chat service plugin! All existing services in Trillian are written using this API, so anything is possible! In Trillian Astra, we're introducing many new APIs, including network, mail, and much more!
